The CAIH – Center for Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare ETS is an independent center for research, training, and scientific outreach established to guide technological advancements in the service of medicine and public health. In an era marked by digitalization and the convergence of biological and computational disciplines, our Center serves as the link between the development of advanced algorithms and their real-world, safe, and ethical application in everyday clinical practice.Operating as a Third Sector Entity (ETS), CAIH pursues civic and socially beneficial goals through a synergistic academic structure. We promote scientific trials and international publications to validate the effectiveness of AI models, offer advanced training programs and continuing education courses for medical and engineering staff, and foster public debate on pressing issues in bioethics and data protection, in strict alignment with the guidelines of the new European AI Act.Our mission is to build an open and collaborative scientific ecosystem where Artificial Intelligence does not replace the human factor but amplifies its potential, ensuring maximum patient safety and excellence in care.
